ROYAL WADE KIMES TELLS OF DESPERATE MEN
Royal Wade Kimes’ first single to gospel radio is scheduled to hit the airways on Southern Gospel, Country Gospel and Christian Country stations all across America and around the world no later than June 5th. ‘Desperate Men’, a song co-written with another top Nashville writer, Kent Blazy, is powerful and full of the famous Royal Wade Kimes emotion. The song looks hard subjects right in the eyes and has a nice twist at the end.
“White Light” is Kimes’ first gospel album since he started cutting records in 1996 on Asylum Records. The single, ‘Desperate Men’, is being distributed to Southern Gospel Stations on Volume 47 from Family Music Group and to Country Gospel and Christian Country through Hope Street Music Group, Volume 2009 Hope Street.
After being asked thousands of times while on the road, “When are you going to cut a gospel record?” Royal Wade, along with Wonderment Records, did just that. ‘Desperate Men’ will give the listener something to think about. The album, “White Light” will hit the streets in July.

Western Way Magazine artcle: Royal Wade Kimes-Riding to the Rescue.
Royal Wade Kimes was the #1 digitally downloaded recording artist in May/June of 2008 on I-Tunes and continues to be included at the top portion of this listing.
Royal Wade Kimes has been named the 21st Century Marty Robbins by his peers as noted in Country Weekly magazine

Royal Wade was host to a sold-out concert and trail ride October 3 - 5, 2008 where some 21 states were represented for the event. The concert is held annually in Chester, Arkansas, Royal Wade's home town. The concert benefits the 'Meals for Kids' program which feeds needy children on week-ends with a back-pack of food which doesn't require preparation.
This year's event featured the new 'Cowboy Spirit Award' and first to receive the award was T. J. Brown, a retired top bronc rider, residing in Natural Dam, AR. The annual award honors cowboys from teenagers to a senior cowboy in their twilight-years who lived their life keeping the cowboy spirit alive. As a child, Royal Wade idolized T. J. Brown, kids naturally admire cowboys, and this event is to help kids, not only in health and foods, but provide them the opportunity to see cowboys exhibit their true 'cowboy spirit'.
This was the 3rd
Annual Mount Royal Trail Ride and Concert put on by Royal Wade Kimes and it's
grown beyond imagina-tion. When Royal Wade was asked about the event he said,
"it's just getting started! When riding the high country anything can
happen, who would have believed a town like Chester with population of 99
could fill up a fifty acre ranch with an event! Riding high. . . I reckon!"
Glad you took time out of your day to stop by and say hello, or just look around a bit on my little ranch. That's kinda how I think of it, a website being like a ranch, people come by to visit, talk and maybe even take something home with 'em. I enjoy getting to know people, so by all means leave me a note before you ride off into tomorrow. Hope you like my place and please..... stop by anytime.
